Fur & flowers

My internet has been down for the last week, it's really made it clear to me how addicted I am! It's pretty annoying not being able to check things like train times, cinema listings, what's in the Ikea catalogue before you set off on a furniture buying mission.. But most of all I missed blogging! Blog-reading as opposed to blog writing - felt so disconnected!
Last weekend was also the first birthday of Film Fatale, the adorable vintage film screening/club that I regularly attend. I've been to screenings of Roman HolidayDouble Indemnity and Singin' in the Rain. This month's was Breakfast at Tiffany's and.. it sold out before I could get a ticket! Don't you hate when something you love becomes too popular? So instead my friends and I are having our own Breakfast at Tiffany's screening tonight! In case you can't tell, I'm not dressing up as Audrey Hepburn for it!
This is also the first time I've styled the adorable fox bag from this post. I'm terrible! I love the bag but I can only leave the house if I have a massive sack crammed with junk, umbrella even if it's sunny, mp3 player plus Kindle even though they both play music (in case one dies), huge heavy purse full of coins because I never like spending my 1c, 2c, and 5c in case shopkeepers get mad, notebook that I never use, etc, etc. Are you able to travel light?

Cute outfit - I love the fox bag. I hate it when something you do get too popular and sells out. I always leave home with too much stuff too!

I actually carry a backpack and a purse to work, because I bring my lunch (including thermos of tea), Kindle, water bottle, knitting project, and a newspaper. Ugh. I am always over prepared. :)

that fox bag is super cute! thanks for the tips, in fact I've downloaded her actions - though I think they would work better on brightly lit BG's etc as they just look orange when I use them :S

I'm the exact same - most of my bags have a limited lifespan and their straps eventually snap under the pressure of umbrellas, books, a bulging wallet (again with coins not notes!!), and a huge accumulation of leaflets and other paper rubbish!
I really love this outfit - the bag is so cute and the floral top is a nice nod to spring :) Also, I 'like' a certain film institute page on facebook and there was a pic of an archive librarian holding an Oscars statuette on their page a few weeks ago and she looked a lot like you...if it was indeed you I'm insanely jealous of your job :)

What a cute purse! But like you, I also carry a ton of stuff with me so I can't leave the house without a tote! I had to laugh about your purse full of coins: when I was living in Dublin my purse was also full of coins... guess the cashiers there were faster than the ones here in Germany and I didn't want to keep everyone waiting until I count my change haha! So I went to the self-checkout counters in Tesco and spent them all :D

I'm such a light packer. And I always find myself wishing I had a book, or a knitting project, or a nail file on me when all I have is my wallet and a phone.

Cute bag - it would be perfect for festivals where you only want the essentials.

I can totally relate to super-sized bag (and to the net-addiction too when we're at it)! :) Sounds just like me! But you never know when it starts raining! The fox bag is super cute though! p.s. thank you so much for the wishes!!! :)

Nope, I'm a hermit just like you. I want to have my wallet, coin wallet, lipstick, make up mirror, cellphone, random schoolstuff, painkillers, a book, an umbrella, train- and bustickets, leaflets from random places me and my boy went to... yes, random stuff. I'm a big bag girl. :-D I recently saw Breakfast at Tiffany's, too bad I only saw about the last half though. Audrey Hepburn is adorable and such a good actress. Love the tiny purse and the flowery tunic/dress!

Ahh that's so lovely that they screen vintage films, I'm jealous!
I'm like you, I have a HUGE bag with me at all times, full of so much stuff. I like bringing loads of stuff with me just in case!!
Hope you're having a lovely Friday!
