It's a washout

I wanted to take outfit photos today, but it's been raining non-stop all morning and afternoon. So I decided it would be fun, interesting, necessary to try some indoor shots! Wow it was hard. The main problem is that there's not a single inch of my house that doesn't have something crammed into it (and no nice blank wall space that hasn't been shelved). A secondary problem is that our house is surrounded by very tall trees, so there's hardly any natural light (see?)
So I'm not totally happy with how these photos came out, but it's all part of trying to improve my photography skills I suppose. And by skills, I mean "skills".
Anywho, this is pretty much my favourite time of the year for sales shopping. For some reason I always seem to have my eye on things that no one else wants, so I like to bide my time, wait until the sales have been on for six weeks or so then SWOOP in and get the mega bargains! I wanted this cardigan from Urban Outfitters since last year (full price: €85) but I picked it up last week for €25! Have you moved on to Spring/Summer purchases or are you still scouring the shops for the last of the Winter stock? And indoor photography - is it a nightmare or is it just me?

Your headpiece is super cute, I love that you can add this to any outfit!
Also, considering you're inside, these photos still work great :-)

I never noticed the lip piercing, it's hot. The head scarf too. I honestly don't mind the indoor pics..

i have the same problem, a totally crammed home. there's a teeny tiny space below some shelves in the kitchen where it is possible to find a clutter free background and natural light for an hour or so during the day, oh how i cherish that space!

on a whole other note: i love your hair! it looks so great on you and makes me want to cut mine short.

Love the outfit and your house does look pretty photographable to me! Indoor photography generally is a nightmare - & surely in a big way responsible for the success of instagram?!

I think the indoor photography looks great! My outfit posts are nearly always inside - mostly due to laziness. I really should make more effort. I really love the headscarf:)

You look really lovely, especially your hair. I always have had such a difficult time with indoor photos myself.

Indoor photos can be tricky, I find the same problem with finding any nice space that is well lit to take pictures in. I think these ones came out really well :)

Oh, I love that headscarf!

And as for indoor photography I hate it as well. I'm going to try and take some outside photos tomorrow, but it will be so difficult with -10 degress celsius temperatures:(
