I heart hearts

I've been wanting a heart jumper for at least a year. Originally I had my eye on the Sonia Rykiel heart and keyhole cashmere version. It even went on sale on Net-a-Porter, but I couldn't justify spending so much on something that I couldn't try on.

When I saw the Asos angora mix version  I knew it had to be mine - plus ASOS have a generous 20% off new season stock at the moment. It's lovely, and very soft, but I don't understand retailers' obsession with three quarter length sleeves. It just means that I have to wear something underneath in a matching colour, or have cold forearms. Does anyone really prefer only getting three quarters of a sleeve?

Hey, just found your blog but I'm already a big fan (your layout is awesome!). I love this outfit, simple but fun, your shoe laces are really fun. I'm totally the same with you about 3/4 length sleeves, I just don't see the point, if I want them at my elbows I'll roll them up but I hate getting cold arms! xo

I'm really in love with this outfit. I love the scarf, I love your high tops, I LOVE that sweater. I want one of the wildfox couture heart shirts, actually, but I feel they are too easily DIYed to be worth the $100.

I actually do prefer 3/4 length sleeves, but it is a pain to wear armwarmers or something with matching sleeves in the winter.

@Meg Needles

Thank you :) Wildfox is another label that I think has lovely designs but just TOO expensive!!

Oh, that jumper is adorable! My friend has a similar one that's light blue with a red heart. I don't mind three-quarter sleeves, but I live in a warm climate, so that's probably why.

No I bloody hate 3/4 sleeves - but I bloody LOVE that jumper and you've styled it perfectly! Actually I saw Gala Darling wearing one on her site a couple of days ago - look's even more awesome on your lovely figure! xoxo

That top is super cute!

I used to always hate 3/4 sleeves but these days I find that I end up rolling my sleeves up most of the time..

I love the heart! So cute! I used to be such a tomboy growing u, and hated girly things... but the older I get, the more I just swoon over details like pink hearts! LOL :)

Me again!
Yup, your turn now - you could do 2 separate posts if you wanted, one for each award? Or whatever you like really, totally up to you.
Basically the idea is that you do the same and pass it on to 15 of your favourite blogs.

And yes, it's a paperbag waist - that's the main reason I liked it <3

@Porcelain complexion

Yay thanks! I can't wait to do this!

That is one cute top! When wearing 3/4 sleeves you might want to try these "separate sleeves" or whatever they are named, like long gloves without fingers. Works for me!
