Lomographic Brighton

I finally scanned the photographs I took in Brighton with my adorable Diana Mini! I forgot how nice it is to drop a roll of film in to be developed and not remember exactly what's on it. Although I did get "the fear" that none of the photos would come out - I did lose a lot of the roll as I hadn't anticipated how dark the indoor shots would be without a flash. You live and learn! My friend who I was away with was using Instagram on her iPhone (aka the cheater's lomography) and her photos came out much, much better than mine did!

Do you ever take photos on film? Should I just give in and get Instagram?

These are awesome! Thanks so much for sharing these with us, there is nothing quite like the anticipation of having a film developed. I have a wee Holga that I bought last year and I love the photos it takes, especially with the fish eye lens. Whilst my wee sony digital camera is my everyday camera still, I love my Holga as well. I'm not sure about instagram - I downloaded it on my phone but find I never use it. But lots of people LOVE it!

I think your photos are FABULOUS. For realzies! I wish I had the patience for waiting for photos to be developed. I have a lomo camera that never gets used because I keep on forgetting about it!

I love these pics...the off-focus blurry effect in some of them gives them a kind of eerie feel. And you've just reminded me that I've got two disposable cameras I've been meaning to develop for abot 2 years now..so that should increase the surprise element several times over :) Also, I meant to reply to your Romwe query about the quality of the clothes - I bought a blouse and a skirt with the voucher I won and I didn't find them fantastic quality to be honest but then I think I chose a little unwisely and hastily in my eagerness to get my hands on some new clothes!
